Practice Practice Practice!
Being busy is no excuse to practice your creativity. Being creative is just like any other practice, use it or lose it! Of course you never truly lose your creativity. However, once you stop for a certain period it takes time to build that creative muscle back up!
That’s why even though I’ve been busy the past few weeks I’ve been doing some practicing with my doodles! Practice makes perfect in my opinion, and you have to practice every day to make improvements. All it really takes is pen (or pencil) and some paper!
Here’s what I’ve done so far:

The idea with any of these sketches is to not worry about the outcome. It’s easier to do this exercise with pen because you can’t erase your mistakes. Of course it’s going to bother you, bit you’ll get over it … Eventually!
If you want to take some really fun classes I suggest checking out Creative Bug. It’s an amazing website with tons of selections for every crafter. The best part is it’s only $4.95 a month and you get 1 class credit every month.
Check out the banner to the right for a great deal on a subscription!
My suggestion is to try on of Lisa Cogdon’s classes. She has a great Creative Boot Camp class, and 30 day challenges to help your creativity shine!
Have a great week everyone!
